Diamond is the hardest, strongest, and most wear-resistant material ever discovered in nature. Its exceptional combination of properties—such as high thermal conductivity, broad spectral transparency, fast sound velocity, semiconductor characteristics, and chemical inertness—makes it today the world’s premier all-round material. In the early 1980s, a breakthrough was achieved in the development of chemical vapor deposition (CVD) technology for producing diamond films at low pressure. After years of intensive research and development, CVD diamond growth technology has now become increasingly mature. Currently, four distinct forms of CVD diamond products have entered the market: 1) thick sheets of pure polycrystalline diamond; 2) coated diamonds; 3) large single-crystal diamonds; and 4) nanocrystalline diamond films. The advent of CVD diamond not only brings tremendous economic benefits but, more importantly, allows the full potential of diamond’s multifaceted properties to be realized. The 24th China International Optoelectronic Expo has set its new dates for September 6-8, 2023, to be held at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center (Bao'an New Venue). The exhibition will cover an area of 220,000 square meters and bring together over 3,000 exhibitors, further promoting the integration of the optoelectronics industry with its applications and building a platform for face-to-face communication and exchange.

Recently, a delegation of five people—including Mao Fengyan, Deputy Director of the Liaoning Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and Sun Xiaohui, Deputy Director of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau—visited our company, Pengcheng Micro-Nano Technology (Shenyang) Co., Ltd., to conduct an on-site research. The delegation gained a comprehensive understanding of the progress of micro-nano projects and provided guidance on Pengcheng Micro-Nano’s future development strategy as well as on applying for relevant policies at the ministerial, provincial, municipal, and district levels. Afterwards, Mr. Wu Xiangfang from Pengcheng Micro-Nano led the team in accompanying Guan Hao, a member of the District Party Committee Standing Committee and Deputy District Mayor, along with senior officials from the District Science and Technology Bureau, on a tour of Pengcheng Micro-Nano’s production and manufacturing center. During the visit, Mr. Wu also gave the leaders a comprehensive introduction to the company.
